Who We Are

Angela Barbero has been in the beauty industry since 1978. She is the former owner of Vital Image in Holbrook and Sayville NY. This is where she met and trained Lisa Ann. Nine years later, they formed their partnership. They have been through alot of changes in the past year and have always stayed together as a family. They believe in keeping the salon comfortable and relaxing. The name Serenity comes from the Serenity prayer which means so much to both of them.

Angela and LisaAnn have a great team of stylists, assistants and salon coodinators. All trained and educated in their salon.

Alissa Swift is a Master Stylist. She is formerly from the Smithaven Mall salon and has worked with Angela and LisaAnn since the beginning of her career. She specializes in Hair Coloring and the newest updo styles.

Marisol Arias masters in the art of hair coloring and relaxers. She has worked side by side with Angela for the past year and has a true eye for color. She is also our resident make-up artist.

Mallory Barbero is a Master Stylist who specializes in Keratin relaxers and Hair Coloring. With Hairdressing in her genes, She has worked in the field by Angela's side since she was 15yrs. old.

We are happy to welcome Jennifer Fruecht. Jen is formerally of Tapestry Salon in Centereach. She has a special talent with Coloring and Blowstyling the hair. Her bubbly personality is always fun to interact with and she always has a great story to tell about her son Julian.

Jill and Chris are our salon coodinators who keep our salon running smoothly and professionally. They are always happy to be of assistance to our clients.

Angela Lanza is one of our future stylists and now head assistant who works side by side with LisaAnn and Angela recieving hands on training everyday. She has a natural eye for color and can talk to you about hair 24/7.

Tina is also new to our salon. (TeeTee to us) She is an assitstant with a flair for style. Always there to lend a hand and great conversation you will just love this girl!

And then there is Lucy. Our salon mascot. She is our 5yr old Jack Russell Terrier. Lucy loves to be a part of our salon. She greets our clients and always enjoys a nice petting.
