"America Through Music"

November 25, 2008 Central Arizona College, Professor Rick Moore and the Central Arizona Community Wind Ensemble presented an entertaining evening of American historical events through music. Combined with visual clips relating to critical times in our country's past growth and development, Professor Moore's selection and direction proved to be uplifting and thought provoking.

The highlight of the evening was the Arizona debut of the "Army National Guard March" conducted by the composer himself, Henry Kalke of Nora Springs, Iowa. The premiere performance of the Guard March was July 3, 2008 at Mason City, Iowa by the Mason City Municipal Band.

"America the Brave" was the grand finaly of the evening. The audience expirienced glory, sadness, strength, honor, pride and appreciation for those who fought to preserve and protect our freedom.

"America Through Music' is now available on DVD for $20 plus shipping and handling from Sunburst Video Productions. Go to www.sunburstvideo.us for contact and ordering information.
